Brenna's Birthday

It was so fun to have the cousins and Brenna's BFF Makayla come and play at Jungle Jim's for Brenna's Birthday!! Thanks to everyone for coming and for the fun presents. We had a crowded house afterwards for Cake and Ice Cream, but what would a Rasmussen gathering be if it wasn't CRAZY!!!!

Halloween Part II

Sorry one more picture, I had to do another post to get Maddy's picture up. I don't know why it will only let me post a few pictures at a time. Maybe someone can help me with that? But, I had to show everyone the fun costume. Madison is very creative and was very specific with what she wanted. It turned out really cute and really cheap!!! Those are the best kinds!!

I was just downloading pictures off of my camera and found these really cute pictures of Ryder with Grandma Garnet. These pictures are very special to us now because Grandma Garnet passed away just before Halloween. We miss you, but know that your with Grandpa Ad and taking care of us from up in Heaven.

This is Halloween

Halloween this year was pretty much the same as every year. We carved Pumpkins with Cody, Amy and Kids and then we did the traditional Halloween Day Party thing with Brandon's family. Every year his sister Heather has a huge gathering at her house and everyone brings Soup, Bread, and Yummy Treats. We all eat and then take the kids out to Trick or Treat. It was the best weather I can remember for October. The kids had a lot of fun!!

Madison wanted to be a D.J. (I know, that one took some thinking on my part), Brenna wanted to be a "Nice Witch", Chase wanted to be a Bat (thanks to my Mom for making the costume) and one of my friends at work let me borrow a Roo costume for Ryder.

I was a "Mom" dressed up as a Medical Assistant because I had to go to work at 6:30 that night. So I got soup, a couple of pictures and a few tricks or treats and headed to work.

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland a couple weeks ago and had such a good time!! Thanks Don and Barbara for letting us use your home as a hotel and for watching Ryder for us one of the days.

The kids had a really fun time, the park was crazy busy because it was such a nice weekend. For future travel we will be going to Disneyland in October again, but during the week.

Madison's favorite ride was Indiana Jones and Pirates of the Carribean, Brenna's favorite rides were the Rollercoasters, Chase's favorite ride was Buzzlight Year. I really enjoyed seeing the park all decked out for Halloween, especially the Haunted Mansion because it was all set up with Nightmare before Christmas stuff.

It was a great but short trip and we want to go back but probably not for a couple more years!!!

Brandon and Ryder at Bear Lake

Bear Lake

Yesterday we went to Bear Lake with Cody, Amy and Kids, Josh, Lauren, Bob, Ginny, Erica and Caleb. It was a lot of fun!! Perfect day for Bear Lake, it was a little overcast so it wasn't too hot and late enough in the season that the water had warmed up.

It was really fun riding the waverunner into the middle of that aqua blue water. Josh took Maddy out and they had fish come up to the waverunner and check them out. Erica and I went out a couple of times together and it was fun trying to bounce her off the back!!!

We were up on the beach when all of the sudden a huge gust of wind came up and lifted up the shade tent (even though we had anchored it with pegs and heavy coolers.) Luckily I was close by because as the tent started to come down the leg was right over the baby and would have stabbed him in the stomach. It's amazing how quickly Wonder Woman comes out of you when your baby is in trouble!!!! I ran up the beach and grabbed the leg and moved the baby at the same time!! But, all is well, except of course the shade tent which ended up getting broken.

It was Raspberry Days (remember to always look up Bear Lake on the internet before going down) so it was crazy with traffic. We didn't want to wait forever to get a Raspberry Shake, so we drove down to the LeBeaus in Logan and had a shake there.

So anyway it was a really fun day and the kids all had a great time and came back with tons of sand in their hair and very little sunburn (wish I could say the same for me)!!!

New to this Game

Hello all, I'm new to this Blogging thing, so it's going to take me some time to get things posted. I need some ideas of where people get cute free backgrounds for their blogs and how to get music on it and that kind of stuff. Amy want to give me any hints??
Okay well that's enough for tonight, it's very late and I have to work all day tomorrow!!
